Soul Sacrifice: Inafunes latest is all about trade-offs | SnackBarGames Review

Added: 26.05.2013 9:17 | 9 views | 0 comments

SnackBarGames write: 'Soul Sacrifice does what few games do. It carries a theme, clings to it, spreads it throughout all of the bits and pieces that make up a video game: a medium that tells a story not only through blatant exposition, but also the personal experience a player has when physically interacting with its world. Soul Sacrifice demands much of the player, and forces tough choices: not just good versus evil, but risk versus reward. The ramifications of your choices, your sacrifices, go beyond altering your ending or your flavor text. They also define the way you play the game.'

Soul Sacrifice Review [Capsule Computers]

Added: 25.05.2013 9:17 | 11 views | 0 comments

Sergei Lazarev of Capsule Computers writes: "Its not often that a first-party PS Vita title makes an appearance since the systems launch in early 2012. The handheld has been almost begging for a killer title (at least in the West) and, unless youre an avid Japan importer, your game library is looking lonely. So here we have Soul Sacrifice, a creation spawned from the mind of Keiji Inafune who co-designed Mega Man. Mixing the successful monster hunting formula with a dark narrative and macabre art design, is this a much-needed system-seller?"

Toronto Thumbs Review: Soul Sacrifice

Added: 22.05.2013 8:17 | 12 views | 0 comments

From the Review: "Marvelous AQLs and SCE Japan Studios Soul Sacrifice for the Playstation Vita is a grim tale of sorcery and woe that forces you to make decisions more often than is comfortable which makes the game even triguing and challenging. With a heavy story mode, a pile of cool characters and a solid combat mechanic, Soul Sacrifice is a great deal of fun, if not slightly depressing (due to the nature of the plot) and repetitive (game-play)."

Soul Sacrifice Review | TheHDRoom

Added: 19.05.2013 6:17 | 12 views | 0 comments

TheHDRoom: "Soul Sacrifice, by Sony Computer Entertainment of America (SCEA), is not only one of the best games for the PS Vita, it's one of the best games on the market today. Soul Sacrifice takes the hint of other formulas in other games and then dramatically warps it into a twisted tale of sorcerers and monsters, redemption and sacrifice."

CSM - Soul Sacrifice Review

Added: 18.05.2013 23:17 | 12 views | 0 comments

CSM - For the most part, Soul Sacrifice is a very good RPG rooted heavily in melee combat and magic. While the missions and levels tend to get repetitive, the game looks and plays great on the PS Vita's 5-inch OLED screen; plus it sounds amazing thanks in part to the grand soundtrack recorded by Yasunori Mitsuda and Wataru Hokoyama, with full orchestras and choruses at Skywalker Sound.
